Next Base Guide is a personal site about monthly costs for US service members and their families moving to a base. It is for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, and Coast Guard, in the United States and overseas. The Next Base Guide team writes the guides from the point of view of a family of four with two kids. The notes are not an official base publication.
The pages that are up today are two United Kingdom bases. Each rates table lists every pay grade. Only E-1 to E-5 have a cited rent ceiling. Other pay grades are marked Needs verification. A figure is printed only when the guide has a source. If the source is unofficial, or the amount could not be confirmed, the page says so.
