- Since 24 Sep 2021, new families have no off-base option.
- Homes are at Yokosuka or at Ikego Hills.

- A full inventory puts you on a wait list.
- The later move on base is government-funded.
- Check in within three business days.
- The welcome brief is at 9:30 on weekdays.
- The housing center is building 1441.

- Weekday hours are 8:00 to 16:00.
- The first Wednesday closes at 12:30.
- Government homes include a refrigerator, range, washer, dryer, and dishwasher.
- Loaner furniture lasts up to 90 days while goods are in transit.
- Dogs are allowed in townhouses.
- Dogs are also allowed through the second floor of towers.
- The pet limit is two animals.
Community housing
- Unaccompanied shore-duty E-5 and above may live off base.
- The page limits that option to bona fide singles.
- Members on unaccompanied orders are included.
- Those members may receive temporary lodging allowance.
- Housing reviews off-base leases.
- Loaner appliances are available for off-base homes.
